This is an eight-day tour to be taken from mid-June to the end of September. After your welcome at the Libreville airport, you will fly take a flight to Omboué, and then go directly to the Ye Tsanou Lodge at Iguéla in the Loango Park. From the lodge, you can easily reach the mouth of the lagoon, beautiful wild beaches and the coastal area of the park.
For one week you can alternate between viewing the hump-backed whales and the big game on land.

There are estimates of a minimum of 2,000 whales during this period of the year who transit and park on the southern coast of Gabon. They are spectacular and play games all the time, quite frequently jumping out of the water. Sometimes dolphins and orcs accompany them.

All during this season, a team of researchers study them, and for each visit one of the team accompanies you. A perfectly adapted hydro-jet allows you to get very close to these enormous ocean mammals.

On land you will see elephants, buffaloes, sitatungas, duikers, primates and small mammals; and in the lagoons and rivers you will see hippopotamus, and crocodiles and around 400 species of different birds.

You can choose, although you must make reservations in advance, between staying in the comfortable Ye Tsanou Lodge during your entire trip, or camping a few nights in the Akaka Camp, along the marshes where there are unimaginable numbers of animals coming together in the dry season.

The flight from Omboué to Libreville will allow you to get back to the capital where you will get your international flight.
